Health Care Costs Crushing Your Health

leave a comment »

Health care costs are sky-rocketing:  health insurance premiums, the copays and the deductibles.

Each year, those costs go up and far faster than any potential increases in your income.

Health care in America is eating up larger chunks of your income, forcing you to more often skip those doctor visits or postpone needed medical treatment.

And forget about wellness visits.

What are you going to do?

Except watch your health deteriorate day by day.

Then die, hopefully not in agony.

Take responsibility for your health.

But you will not.

Too lazy, and too ignorant.

Too proud with a big ego to ask for help.

Real Sad.

Health Care System In Shambles

leave a comment »

Your health care system is a total failure.

People could live much healthier and longer lives.

The United States spend twice as much per person on health care than any other nation.

Yet, The United States ranks about 40th in quality of health care.

And, there is no “care” in the health care system.

Fewer doctors, less quality doctors, longer waits for an appointment.

Limited coverage by insurance programs.

More and more Americans are going on “health care” vacations; lower costs and better medicine in other nations(even without insurance).

The health care is now a battle between government regulation and the health care system money machine.

Patients are sheared like sheep and then slaughtered.

Government is part of the cause; it is not going to solve the problem.

Solution guidelines:

—  the problem can be solved

—  people need to stop relying on government

—  individuals must take responsibility for their health and the health care system

—  individuals are too lazy and incompetent to do what is necessary

—  assistance is available

It is your life.

What are you going to do?

Patients Without Control of Payments

leave a comment »

You go to your doctor.

The doctor submits his bill.

The insurance company, medicare and/or medicaid pays the bill.

You may pay a deductible or co-pay.

Patients have little or no control of the payment process.

Because the system is about the medical industry easily making as much money as possible not about your health.

If your health was important, you would control payments.

Any medical provider who did not do his job, you could dock his payment accordingly.

If the provider refused to see you again, all future payments to the provider would automatically be cut by 10%.

The medical provider would have to satisfy the patient just like any other vendor of goods or services.

Doctors are not special except in extracting money.

More than half are under qualified.

Even more have no patient empathy.

Mediocre Life Expectancy in the United States

leave a comment »

According to the World Health Organization, the United States ranks 36th in life expectancy compared to other nations(as of 2012).

Costa Rica ranked higher.

People in the United States spend much more money on healthcare than the average person in any other country in the world …

Yet people in other developed nations all outlive them.

Why are people in the United States not living longer, despite all the money they spend on doctors, hospitals, and drugs?

Three factors:

—  health care costs are excessive in the United States

—  health and nutrition knowledge in the United States is WRONG

—  people refuse to take personal responsibility for their health

From agriculture to diet and medical treatments, the information and methods are not accurate/correct.

This means the quality of health in the United States is a lot less than it could be.

It is only going to get worse.

Politicians and government are responsible.

Doctors Telling u-bam-aCare Patients to Take a Hike

leave a comment »

There are no doctors accepting u-bam-aCare.

Results from various surveys:

—  individual called 30 doctors; none would take his plan

—  53% of those surveyed are going to cancel their plan as soon as they can

—  people are paying high premiums for plans they cannot use

Another government failure;  higher premiums but no health care.

Thank you, dummy u-bam-a.

This is the wave coming at you;  less health care, higher prices.

The government is NOT going to solve the health care crisis.

You better get involved or

9-30 ObamaCare Deadline

Gary North’s Tip of the Week – 9-30 ObamaCare Deadline

For uninsured people, a major loophole closes on Tuesday, October 1. A
special government website will shut down, closing health insurance
options. People’s range of options will shrink.

September 30 is the last day to act.

If you have no coverage on January 1, 2014, you will pay a tax.

For some people, their tax bracket will climb sharply. Remember, the Chief
Justice called this a tax, and on that basis, authorized the program.

By delaying employer coverage until 2015, Obama has closed another

Details are here:

Another blessing from u-bam-aCare.
Another tax to pay.
And health care costs continue to rise thanks to YOUR government.

u-bam-aCare Update

with one comment

Here’s just a small sample of what we already know about the absurdly named Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act:

1) Instead of bending the cost-curve down, health care consumers in many states will find the average premium prices rise 30% or 40% next year.

2) The federal government is unprepared to protect Obamacare’s information-technology system from hackers and identity thieves.

3) Americans may lose their doctors. The Department of Health and Human Services recently posted this on “Depending on the plan you choose in the Marketplace, you may be able to keep your current doctor.”

4) There are 20 new or increased taxes in Obamacare.

5) The federal government’s own General Accounting Office reports Obamacare will increase the long-term federal deficit by $6.2 trillion.

6) A Heritage Foundation analysis found that Obamacare will force seniors to suffer higher out-of-pocket expenses over the next five years.

7) President Obama negotiated an exemption from Obamacare for members of Congress and their staff.

8) Three of the nation’s most influential union bosses (and Obama supporters) declared that Obamacare is poised to “destroy the foundation of the 40-hour work week that is the backbone of the American middle class.”

9) A Gallup poll found that more than 40% of small businesses have frozen hiring because of Obamacare.

10) The employer mandate requiring employers with 50 or more employees to provide health coverage has been postponed until after the 2014 election. I wonder why?

The list goes on … but the point has been made.

In the run-up to the passage of Obamacare, the president told us that his new law would cut the cost of our health care, would not increase the deficit, would not limit our choice of doctors or health plans and would create jobs. None of that was true.

The time has come to end this charade. The time to defund Obamacare is now.

If even a few of the above are true, u-bam-aCare is NOT the solution to the problems of the health care system in the United States.  The reality is most of the above are true.

u-bam-a put forth u-ba-aCare to buy votes and try to create a personal legacy.  He put his personal benefit above that of the citizens.  This is treason.

Everyone agrees the health care system is not working, but u-bam-aCare makes things worse NOT better.
